 SA Travel Guide Print Edition

"The SA Travel Guide is the most popular free guide we have
to give to inbound travellers,"
Hettie - Manager, Johannesburg International Airport

"The SA Travel Guide just flies out.
It is very attractive and has a lot of information for travellers,"
Wessel - Manager, Cape Town Tourism

"It's a great publication - the only free guide with so much information
on what to see and where to stay in the provinces, "
Linda - Manager, KZN Tourism

This year’s edition contains several innovations, including a set of strip maps for motorists sponsored by Total, a pull-out country map and a list of important South African websites.

The aim of the South African Travel Guide is to enable tourists, local and foreign , to make the most of their stay in each of the country’s nine provinces as well as neighbouring Namibia and Botswana. The 144 -page guide’s colourful design, handy A5 size and informative content make it an essential travelling companion and, unlike most travel guides, it comes at no cost to the reader.

50 000 copies of the South African Travel Guide 2007-08 will be distributed to tourist information outlets. Most copies are given out to visitors to the Gauteng Tourism Agency, KwaZulu-Natal Tourism and Cape Town Tourism - and to visitors to the annual Durban Travel Indaba. At least 10 000 copies will go the Department of Foreign Affairs and the DTI for distribution at embassies and travel functions around the world. No other free publication offers as much useful, see-at-a-glance information on what to see and do and where to stay for tourists as the South African Travel Guide 2007-08, supported by its website www.satravelguide.com
